It is something that is developed over time. When you walk into a room, you don’t want your eye to stop anywhere. If a spot of calking was missed or if something isn’t quite perfect a painter’s eye will spot it. It’s that eye that guides you as to what you need to do. What am I going to see? What is the homeowner going to see? It’s in both the details and the dedication.
The Lamy's Painters Difference
The prep process is almost always the most physically demanding, but also the most crucial. When preparation is done right, the applied finishes will not fail prematurely. Our preparation process also includes before and after photos. We dismantle and reinstall almost anything from window treatments to doorknobs. Our before photos guide us in putting a space back together the way the customer likes it…right down to the arrangement of the throw pillows.
I still use oil paint on interior woodwork. Most painters don’t like to use the oil paint on the interior woodwork but it is far superior and provides a more durable finish.
